- 100% Chrysanthemum flower (Chrysanthemum morifolium)
When compared to other flowers, the flowering time of the chrysanthemum flower is much longer, continuously flowering from spring to autumn. The chrysanthemum flower (Chrysanthemum morifolium) is characterized as being edible. According to traditional Far-east medicine, this flower mainly has an effect on the meridians of the liver and lungs, and has a cleansing effect on primarily the eyes and liver. It is also thought to provide the body with energy. Externally it is also used to flush the eyes. Besides having a pleasant flavor, the tea also has a cooling effect. In the Far-east, it is as popular as the chamomile flower, with their area of application being very similar.
Recommded Use: Pour 2-3 dl (approx. 1 cup) of boiling hot water over a tablespoon of the Chrysanthemum flower tea leaves, and let stand 10-15 minutes. The same tea leaves may be re-used in the same way 2-3 times in the course of one day. Combined with the wolfberry fuit, it may contribute to healthy eyes, while combined with liquorice, has an effect on the liver meridian. Consumption of 2-3 cups of the tea is recommended daily.
