Plant sterols, being the active ingredients within Chosterol Control filmtablets, have been clinically proven to reduce blood cholesterol levels. A high cholesterol level is a risk factor in the development of coronary heart disease, which leads to several other risk factors. Changes in a risk factor, such as high cholesterol levels, does not necessarily mean a reduction in the risk of developing the disease if other factors lead to its development.
