A strong cream for varicosis relief.

Active ingredients per 1g emulsion cream:

• 4 ATE (antithrombin units) Hirudo medicinalis extract (standardized medical leech extract)
• 0.24 g Calendula flos extract (marigold extract)

Varicosis is only aesthetically disturbing at first. Later, however, it may cause serious problems and pain. When it becomes difficult to get out of bed or when going for a simple walk causes a problem, a trustworhy and strong cream is needed to treat the „heavy legs” feeling. The beneficial effects of PLERUDIN® FORTE anti-varicosis cream provides relief to tens of thousands of people each year.

PLERUDIN FORTE is composed of medical leech extract, the leading active ingredient called hirudin, which has anticoagulant, blood clot destroying properties. Hirudin also improves veinal circulation in closed capillaries and thus helps in supplying oxygen to injured tissues. The cream has the favorable properties of both effective substances that combine well to provide an efficient supplementary treatment for severe and neglected disorders of varicose veins, such as inflamed vein dilations, bluish lilac coloring of affected areas, and dropsy-swelling. It also has an antiphlogostic and pain relieving effect. PLERUDIN FORTE, besides treating varicosis complaints, is also suitable for fascilitating the absorption of haematomas and painful swelling arising from strains or hits, and rapid absorption of edemas.

Recommended Application: As needed, apply the cream 2-3 times daily onto the part of body to be treated. Coat 1mm think and gently rub into the skin. In more severe cases, apply as a dressing 2mm of cream, covering with a thin, clean cloth and plastic film wrap, covering the film wrap with another layer of cloth or gauze. Leave this dressing on for atleast 30 minutes.
To treat varicose veins, apply the cream and elevate the treated leg for 20-30 minutes (if this is not possible during the day, then please ensure to do so upon your evening treatment).
In the case of haematomas and swelling, continue treatment until absorption takes place, and for varicose veins, until complaints cease.
In the case of varicosis, an average therapeutic course takes between 4-12 weeks, depending on severity. For treating haematomas, an average therapeutic course may last between 1-3 weeks, depending on it’s severity.
